Starting is really easy!
1. The first step in getting involved is to come along to a Free Intro Class where you will experience the environment of CrossFit training.
This is a one hour session where you will learn more about what CrossFit is, what we define “fitness” as, and will include a CrossFit workout scaled to your abilities.
Also please download the Kia Kaha CrossFit Waiver and Questionnaire below and ensure you have the correct paperwork completed before participation in your first session.

2. The next step is signing up for our 2 week Kick Start Course
The Kick Start Course consists of 5 one hour classes – COST: $225.00
(includes a KKCF t-shirt)
This is a 2 week program that will provide you with the technique and skill necessary for keeping you safe and maximizing your results when you enter the group classes.
You will learn the language, timing methods and be embraced into Kia Kaha CrossFit’s culture.
You must complete 5 classes before you can graduate to the open Kia Kaha Classes.
Topics covered:
- The basic fundamental weightlifting movements of CrossFit
- Basic gymnastic movements
- Olympic lifting
- Specific stretching
At the end of the 2 week program you will put through a FREE base-line test to measure your current level of fitness.
If the Kick Start Classes are not possible with your schedule or your are looking to get started sooner you can sign up for a minimum of 5 one on one sessions with one of our Coaches. The fee is $300 for the 5 sessions. This is an option, although, we STRONGLY recommend the Kick Start Class for the best exposure to CrossFit.
3. At the completion of the Kick Start Program you can start coming to any of the classes that work well with your schedule.
Experienced CrossFitters can join any of our regular classes once the correct paperwork is completed.
Once this is done, then its 3-2-1-GO!
